Much before the birth of Primer as a Training entity, Ms Kau has been instrumental in conducting Learning Design workshops in various locations such as Singapore, Malaysia and India. Participants from these Learning Design workshops have gone on to serve organisations worldwide in roles as diverse as Learning Designers, Project Managers, HRD executives, Content Developers; many others have pursued their Masters and PhD degrees in Instructional Design / Instructional Technology.
Read on to see some of the testimonials of the early learners:
I attended the Instructional Design training course led by Kau Poh Moi in 1997. It was an extremely thorough, interesting and practical course, carefully designed and structured to leave us with the confidence and skills to apply what we had lead learnt. Poh Moi gave us detailed handouts which proved very useful reference guides when we had finished the course.
I can highly recommend the Instructional Design course to you.

Even for an experienced person like myself, being a participant observer in Ms. Kau’s workshop, there were pockets of knowledge and skills to be picked up during the course of the project. It was a good feeling to revisit a corpus of knowledge and skills which I had archived for a long period of time.
Poh Moi was also open to discussions and adapting to requirements of the learners. Thank you, Poh Moi.

I have been fortunate to be one of Kau Poh Moi’s trainees in 1997. It has been more than a decade and Poh Moi continues to be an inspiration for me to pursue learning as a serious profession.
Her training covers the various aspects of learning design for creating a professional understanding of the subject and its application in the industry. She had designed methodologies and structures for designing learning courseware which captured cognitive learning theories in their essence so beautifully, that I have till now found one good replacement in the last 12 years that came anywhere close to her thought-through design templates.
I have continued to be her student and never lost a chance to meet her, talk to her, and share with her my learning. She has validated, questioned, and prompted me to think further. Her training gives a big picture of the role of learning as a talent development tool and makes us appreciate its connectedness to the other talent management functions.
I thank Kau Poh Moi for being my coach.

I am currently working for IBM in the Learning Services division. I am working for a project called Knowledge Factory - Indian branch. We are developing Course wares for the Web. I have found Poh Moi's training extremely useful and I apply it regularly in my work. The intensive and exhaustive training that we received from Poh Moi, taught me look at training from different perspectives and I have been able to successfully implement what she has taught in all my work.
